It’s been a while since we’ve done a ” Real or Steal” post, but when I saw the Privileged Sydney booties, I immediately thought of the Nicholas Kirkwood sandals. The two look very similar, but one of these shoes cost nearly12-hundred dollars, while the other is only $49 dollars. Both shoes feature a lace upper, a criss-cross suede pattern, and shoe laces. So, which is the REAL, and which is the STEAL?
Summer is quickly approaching, and I’m making sure my shoe game reflects the shift in seasons. These four pair of shoes are the start to my summer shoe collection. I have a long way to go to say it’s complete, but this is a start.

Aldo held a launch party for their spring and summer collaboration with New York designer Julian Louie. The collaboration was a beautiful romance that produced some of the baddest wedges I’ve seen this year. Their open-toe ankle boots with beautifully crafted tribal print and suede patchwork. The wedges are affordable and stylish. The wedges first appeared on models in Louie’s runway show last year. The buzz from the show was overwhelming and now the wedges are in select Aldo stores. Check out the entire collection and video of the launch party below.
When I saw these Giuseppe Zanotti’s wedges my heart skipped a beat. Seriously, these wedges are the perfect color and the perfect wedge style. Turquoise shoes are also a hot accent color for any look this spring. Try it with a pair of jeans or a dress, these peep-toe wedges will set your look off! The retail price $650.00
Nicki Minaj’s video for ” Moment 4 Life” premiered last night. Nice video with a concept that made sense and actually went with the song. Throughout the video I noticed her shoe game. The camera made a very conscious effort to capture these heels too.
The First are a pair of Christian Louboutin encrusted silver Pigalle Pumps. These were a gift from her Fairy Godmother Martha (saying this is my very best Nicki Minaj voice).
In the behind the scene footage Nicki Minaj is spotted with the open-toe version of the Christian Loubotin encrusted pumps.
The other pair of shoes that stood out in this video was a pair of Rock and Republic beaded black and gold peep toe booties. The shoes are known as Rock and Republic’s Saffon .
