As some of you may know my Birthday was last Thursday, and to celebrate some of my friends threw my a surprise party. It was a very small party, but it was so special because people thought enough of little ole me to through me a shin-dig! My family (a small portion) also came down to celebrate with me. I have a few snapshots of the party, but these pictures are from Saturday’s dinner with the fam-bam!
The dinner party consisted of three adults and four kids so I didn’t go over the top with the look at all. I went trendy and embraced some of my favorites for the season and that’s denim shorts, stripes, and a combination of bright colors.
I wore a Forever 21 red and black striped top ($17.80). The striped top features goldtone buttons on the left shoulder. The scoop neck top also features slightly puffed sleeves.
I paired the tomato red and black top with dark-denim ‘See Thru Soul Boyfriend Shorts.’ I bought these shorts two years ago and only wore them this year. Unfortunately the shorts are sold out.
For the perfect punch of color I wore my turquoise Jessica Simpson ‘Waleo’ pumps.
As I walked out the door, my mother gave me these eyes that said, “Are we going out to eat or to a party?” I politely strutted to the car and KILLED it! Seriously, my mama understands I rock heels even to the supermarket.#FashionBloggerProblems
I styled this look with a vintage black quilted cross body bag and gold accessories.
