I’ve been waiting to wear this vintage dress for about nine months. I found this gem at a thrift store in Birmingham. I immediately fell in love with it when I saw it on the rack. The dress was missing it’s original belt and I didn’t have any shoes to wear with the dress. Because of those problems I refused to wear the dress. I’m a stickler when it comes to having everything on point before I wear a knock out piece. Long story short, after trying a few belts and buying a pair of Sam Edelman pumps I was able to complete my look. I’m very happy with the outcome. Get a closer look.
I paid $6 for this dress, which is completely sheer. I wore my favorite fur scarf from H&M. My jewelry and clutch are from Forever 21.
I tried to have a little fun with the look by adding my cute sunglasses. The shades also give a vintage vibe.
Here’s a closer look at the belt and shoes I chose for the dress. The belt is also another find at the thrift store and shoes were a steal at TJ Maxx. I bought these Sam Edelman “Niland”pumps for $50.
