Last weekend I went to Detroit to visit my BF’s family and we had a great time! It was nice being in a big city and getting dressed up. Unfortunately, I didn’t snap any pics of my night life gear. So the pics you see above are day looks. Enjoy!
We got in Friday afternoon and quickly got dressed. We went to Twelve Oaks Mall and enjoyed a chicken pita from Oscar’s Coney Island. I wore a speckled jumpsuit from Forever 21 and my favorite bebe wedges.
The jumpsuits was only $25 dollars. When I saw the jumpsuit on the model it was NOT the business, that’s why styling is so important. Look for yourself.
On Saturday afternoon Kenny and I went to Somerset Mall, Rosie O’Grady’s for lunch, and hung out with family. Again, I sported something from Forever 21. I wore their “Tribal Mix” crop top. The top was only $12 dollars. I paired the top with army green cargo pants, and my wedges.
On Sunday we went to visit family. We went to Eastpointe to visit my aunt and uncle. We went back to the west side to visit Kenny’s grandma and cousins. I wore a vintage dress that I bought from the thrift store. I paired the dress with Jessica Simpson “Waleo” suede pumps in Miami green. I waited on these shoes for almost two months. The shoes were on back order, but well worth the wait!

believe or not this is not nail polish. I’m rocking Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects -Real Polish strips. I live by these strips. I’m going to include a link to my review on the strips if you haven’t used them yourself.

Anyway the Sally Hansen Strips I used are Electric Shock ( the neon yellow) and Frock Star (the glitter)
