It’s starting to feel like a fall. Not the Rochester fall weather I’ve gotten used to, but more of the southern version of fall. I’m experiencing warm days and crisp cool nights. Dressing for the two variations of weather can be tricky. You refuse to wear longer sleeves in the day in fear of getting too hot, but a tank top at night might have you on the cold side. Tricky, right? The best way to win in this weather game is by layering! Here’s how I layered my chic summer pieces with my new fall favorites:

It’s obvious I can’t get enough of it so I rocking it through fall. I paired this semi-sheer tank with the perfect pair of Mossimo boyfriend jeans from Target. Both the tank and jeans were clearance items. The jeans were only $14. I wish I would have sized down. I’m wearing a four, but the size two may have been a better option. If you like the really, really baggy-oversized style, stick with your true size.
I added my new favorite jacket to this mix. This Who What Wear X Target cape jacket will certainly be in heavy rotation this fall. Don’t you love when your fashionable pieces are also functional? This jacket is great for layering and it’s absolutely fab. I must admit, I wasn’t immediately sold on the jacket, because I thought the cape style is over-saturated, but I know why it’s every where. It’s the bomb dot com.
I added my suede nude “On a Level” Nasty Gal sandals to the mix. Did I tell you I caught these sandals on sale, plus received an extra 40 percent off the sale price? With all the discounts I only paid $33 for these heels. I really live by the motto “Keep it chic, keep it cheap.”
Cool gold framed sunnies from Forever 21 and a vampie lip from Wet N Wild’s fall collection finished this look.
