I’ve been dying to recreate Jessica Alba’s Ralph Lauren look she sported last month during New York Fashion Week. Jessica gave us modern ballerina in her pretty pink midi skirt. When I saw this look, I instantly looked over to my closet where I had a pink pleated skirt hanging. A light bulb went off and I finally had a way to style my skirt. The only catch to this look, I had to wait until it was cool enough to wear my leather moto jacket and sweater. In Alabama, it could be December before it begins to feel like fall.
I wore a Jesse & J pink pleated skirt I scored from Marshalls. The skirt flowed beautifully with my Forever 21 cropped turtleneck. Instead of sandals, I opted for black platform pumps.
I also added a pair of Ray-Ban sunnies and my favorite leather Moto jacket I snagged from Forever 21 many moons ago. I wanted to pull my hair up, but I wasn’t having the best hair day so I swooped my curls to one side and called it a day.
I loved the look. It’s a mix of girlie and edgy, just like me.
