Last week I combined my love for fashion and philanthropy with a fun event called Pumps and Pearls. The Kentucky Derby themed cocktail party was presented by Dothan Magazine. The party also included a fashion show and a silent auction of art, jewelry, travel packages, health, beauty and fashion products. The proceeds from the event go towards the Covenant Hospice in Dothan, AL. Yours truly had the honor of modeling in the show. I’m no model, but I think I did pretty good for my fist time on the runway. Check out how I worked it! #SERVE
I modeled two looks for Dillard’s and let’s just say color was KING!
This look is perfect for a spring day in the office.
My second look was a slice of orange cream pie! I ripped the runway in an Antonio Melani ‘Trish’ Jacket and the matching ‘Maxine’ slim-leg pants. Under my pantsuit I wore a pink Vince Camuto V-neck High Low Blouse.
I looked great on the runway, but let me tell you I was so nervous and I’m sure you would have been too.
I had to walk down a flight of stairs before hitting the stage.
Once I hit the runway it was light, cameras, action! It was on and gave the kids MAJOR sass!
My second look was my absolute fav! The coral pantsuit was GORG! I would rock this to the office and even out for a day event.
