Yes I know it’s spring and I should be dipping and diving into pastels, but I’m not there yet. I will be, but right now i’m sticking with my neutral palette. I even wore all black on Easter. Fix it Jesus. Recently I wore another look straight from neutral closet. This time I wore three shades of grey for a look that was on trend and definitely on budget. Continue Reading »

Power Play: Here’s Why You Need a Power PantSuit in Your Wardrobe

Monday, April 4, 2016 · No Comments

I have a love-hate relationship with pantsuits and majority of the time it leans towards the latter. I wasn’t always like this though. About six years ago I wore a pantsuit to work nearly twice a week, then I had an “aha moment.” I realized some of my suits weren’t flattering and the others were all work, no play. Seriously, I’ve had dreams about beautiful dresses and gorgeous heels I’ve left behind. The latest case was over the weekend while out shopping at JCPenney. If you follow me on snapchat (IamPrettyPrice) you received a front row seat to the action. I tried on a two piece My Michelle high low floral print skirt and lace crop top. Continue Reading »

Sweeties it’s time to take your favorite tee up a notch. Ditch the sneakers and jeans and replace it with pencil skirts and pumps. It’s a stylish alternative and another example of how you can maximize your wardrobe. Besides, I’m always looking for a reason to get all frilly and wearing a graphic tee seems like a good reason to click my heels. This style idea came to mind after receiving a cool t-shirt from Produce Section Clothing. It’s a streetwear brand I support. I was really impressed with the quality and I loved the fun design. The play on words was perfect!  I styled my my “Just Fresh” t-shirt  three ways. Each look features a pair of JustFab heels and a pencil skirt.  Continue Reading »
