Singing, ” It’s Friday night and the weekend’s here. I need to unwind, where’s the party, Mr. D.J?” Sweeties I had to take it back to 1993 with that one. YES!!! We made it through it the week, but getting to Friday has been draining. I was so tired I fell asleep early last night and missed Scandal. I know, I can’t believe I missed it either. Thank goodness ABC.com already had the episode online and I was able to catch the second episode.

Enough about my work week woes and let’s get into the latest in fashion, beauty, and pop culture. Here’s the rundown: Gwen Stefani is teaming up with OPI and Kate Moss is back with TopShop. Plus there are more collaborations in the works.  Get that and more in this edition of “The Rundown.”

Gwen Stefani is staking up a pretty impressive resume. The singer/ designer is now set launch a nail polish collection with OPI. I’m beyond excited about this collaboration. Gwen Stefani is the epitome of cool and I love OPI’s nail polish so there’s no doubt (pun intended) this collection will be amazing.

SO here’s what we know: The collection includes seven shades that range from bold red to chrome gold and glitter. There’s also a box of Swarovski crystals and metallic stud embellishments for the girl that loves an elaborate manicure.

In a statement OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann said, “With her expertise as a singer, songwriter and designer, who better to collaborate with than Gwen Stefani?” I couldn’t agree with you more. (peoplestylewatch)

After a few years off , Kate Moss is back at Topshop! The supermodel designed for the high-street store between May 2007 and November 2010. After her three year hiatus she’s set to launch a spring collection in April.

The collection will consist of 40 pieces that includes footwear. I love Kate Moss’s Boho chic look so I can’t wait to see what she’ll bring to the table this time around. (Vogue)

And there’s another collaboration on the way. This time Gwyneth Paltrow and Michael Kors are teaming up to create a Christmas collection for Paltrow’s website, Goop.com. The limited -edition clothes and accessories will be sold exclusively on her site and the items are hand -picked by Paltrow.

The pieces in the holiday collection will be updated versions of Paltrow’s favorite Michael Kors looks that she already has in her wardrobe. According to WWD some of the looks include a cashmere cape, a peacoat and a peplum turtleneck. (huffingtonpost.com)

Reese Witherspoon graces ELLE’s Women in Hollywood November issue and she looks AMAZING! The 37-year-old mom of three dishes on motherhood and how much it’s changed her as a person.

“Having kids made me clearer about who I was as a woman. I just wanted to exhibit good qualities for my daughter. I was a little competitive before I had kids, probably really competitive, to be honest.”

Interesting perspective. Read Witherspoon’s full article when the November issue hits newsstands October 22nd. Also featured in this issue are Penelope Cruz, Melissa McCarthy and Shailene Woodley. (usmagazine)

I’ve heard of flesh tone stocking, but never shoes, until today.  Parisian shoe designer, Christian Louboutin is debuting a collection of nude shoes that is supposed match your skin tone.

Five classic Louboutin styles, including the Pigalle  pump have been re-imagined in five new nude shades from a light blush to a dark chestnut color.

Louboutin told WWD, “The shoes are there to give a woman an extra lift…they disappear like magic and become a fluid extension of her legs, as in a sketch, elongating the silhouette.”
