Friday, August 3, 2012 · No Comments

Gabby Douglas feels like a younger sister or cousin to me. The stand out athlete is very grounded, spiritual, and talented. Thursday night she etched her way in history becoming the first black Olympic champion in the all-around. After she cinched her second gold medal in London Gabby took to twitter to thanks everyone for the support, love, and prayers.

Gabby said,”It feels amazing to be the Olympic champion.” AMAZING it is Gabby! You have inspired a country. Your story, your sacrifice, and your strength melter my heart and brought tears to my eyes. Gabby you ROCK and we here at Ooh La La Blog salute you.

We also salute Gabby’s mother Natalie Hawkins. Her sacrifice is why Gabby is winner.

P.S. Gabby’s Spread in the July Issue of Time Magazine is SICK!!!!

“I give all the glory to God. It’s kind of a win-win situation. The glory goes up to Him, and the blessings fall down on me.”–Gabrielle Douglas
