FASHION NEWS: JACKSON FIVE LAUNCHES A FASHION LINE AND SEAN JOHN NYC FLAGSHIP STORE CLOSES

The remaining members of Jackson Five will soon be adding Fashion Designers to their long list of accomplishments. In an announcement made today the group revealed their plans to launch  a fashion line this spring, called J5.  This line will include t-shirts with images from the  60′s and 70′s  Jackson Five era. In addition to the shirts their will also be replica’s of Michael Jackson’s leather “Thriller” jackets. Urban Outfitters is one of the stores slated to carry the line. T- Shirts will start at $32 dollars while the leather jackets will be a bit more costly, starting at $600 dollars.

While the Jackson Five is embarking on a  new fashion venture, Sean “Diddy” Combs will be closing the doors to one of his ventures.  Sean John’s 5Th Ave flagship store will be closing it’s doors soon.  According to WWD, the closing of the store is due to a sluggish economy and inadequate sales.
