Sweeties, did you catch the Oscar Awards Sunday night? I must admit I only tune in for the red carpet looks and commentary, but this year I watched the entire show. Ellen Degeneres kept the jokes coming and she made the show enjoyable. The night also had major moments like, Lupita Nyong’o's big win for her supporting actress role in “12 Years a Slave.” The Steve McQueen directed film also came up big. “12 Years a Slave” won the Oscar Award for Best Picture. It was a big night all around, including the red carpet fashion moments. Check out who topped our best dressed list.
Kate Hudson wowed in a beautiful Atelier Versace gown . Hands down she was my absolute favorite of the night.
It’s the combination of the beading, the silk train, and the captivating cape detailing that give this look 10′s across the board.
Soft waves and natural makeup finished this stunning look.
Lupita Nyong’o was also a breath of fresh air on the red carpet. The Oscar Award wining actress looked angelica in a pale blue Prada gown.
The beautiful number features a plunging neckline and open back . I love the pleated detailing on the skirt. It appeared Lupita loved it too. She was caught several times admiring her gown.
Once again, she switched up her hair style and added a gold headband to her look. Lupita really showed us how to rock a fade this award season . Sweeties , were you ladies taking notes?
Jennifer Lawrence didn’t disappoint in her bright orange Christian Dior Couture gown. The strapless number also features a peplum detailing. I love her edgy hair cut. It takes her look up a notch. Do you agree?
Kelly Osbourne didn’t let the rain stop her. The E! Host still nailed her red carpet look. Even in the rain she shined in her white Badgley Mischka gown. I love the gold lace overlay. Gorg!
Charlize Theron hit it out the park in her black Dior gown. I love the illusion straps and the fishtail hemline. The dress is simplistic, but she still made a statement. Charlize finished her look with Harry Winston jewels.
Jada Pinkett Smith was one of many ladies who opted for a soft pink number. Jada went with Atelier Versace halter neck gown. The fitted number also features a dramatic train . Jada looks so good. It looks like she glided onto the red carpet.
Sandra Bullock is another nominee that took a simple approach. The “Gravity” star wore a beautiful midnight blue Alexander McQueen gown . The strapless dress features a sweetheart neckline and a side draping detailing.
Soft waves and Lorraine Schwartz jewels finished her red carpet look.
Camila Alves always gets it right. For the Oscars she chose a pale pink Gabriela Cadena gown.
