I’ve been anticipating the launch of the 3.1 #Phillip LimforTarget Collection since I’ve laid eyes on the look book. I made a list, checked it twice, and I was prepared to shop. I also stalked every style blogger and editor who shopped the #PhillipLimforTarget pre-launch event during New York Fashion Week.
After reading the reviews I figured the collection ran big so I planned to grab two of everything, my size and a size down. Two of everything? Yes, Sweeties one of the perks of living in a small town, nothing sells out. After getting up at the crack of dawn for the Prabal Gurung for Target launch, I refused to get up early again. I was the only person in the women’s department and they didn’t get the sweatshirt I wanted.
So I got to #Target around 2:30 Sunday afternoon and the racks were still full.
I immediately grabbed a small and extra small in the “Boom” sweatshirt. That was my one ” MUSTHAVE”, but I had a few more items on my list. So here’s the down side of living in a small town. My Target store didn’t get half of the collection.
When It came to the leopard pieces in the collection, we got the scarf and the flirty skirt.
I wanted the leopard print body-con dress and sweatshirt, the tuxedo style blue and black pants, and two leather paneled dress.
Since I did get the super cute and stylish “Boom ” sweatshirt I headed to the fitting room . I needed to make sure I needed the small or extra-small. The small worked and I gave the extra small to my friend who came along for the shopping trip.
Because my Target didn’t get the #PhillipLimforTarget tuxedo pants I picked these cute black and white pants and called it a day. They were only $11, so I couldn’t complain.
Overall I was happy with my shopping experience. I plan to go back and grab the rest online. I checked and they still have a few more pieces in so shop the collection below:
Sweeties, did you shop the #PhillipLimforTarget collection, what did you snag?
