Sweet or Sour: Rihanna’s 40/40 Club Barclays Center Grand Opening Acne Resort 2013 and Manolo Blahnik Sandals

From sweatpants and Jordans to designer threads ripped from the runway, Rihanna is constantly switching things up. I can’t say I love every look, but she has a way of putting her own spin to things. Rih’s latest look had me scratching my head. The “Diamonds” singer stepped out to the opening of Jay Z’s 40/40 Club at the Barclays Center in a Acne Patia Currency blouse and matching Karma currency trousers from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

I love the pieces, just not together. The two combined looks like PJ’s. This look is very reminiscent of her Stella McCartney look from the Battleship Premiere in Tokyo last April.

Rihanna teamed her printed look with Manolo Blahnick sandals and her signature jewelry. Those pieces include her Melody Ehsani Queen of the Jungle necklace and Maria Francesca Pepe Gold Spiked Ear Cuff.

Rihanna would have did the Acne pieces more justice by wearing them separately and paring the pieces with solids. Do you agree?

Is this look SWEET or SOUR?  Unfortunately this look went SOUR  for me. I’m usually on board with just about everything Rihanna wears, but this won’t cut it.
